Hasan Elahi's artwork often focuses on the subject surveillance; in this case, it's his own story of being profiled and interrogated by the US government. In the wake of 9/11, Elahi, like too many other non-white Americans, was wrongly identified as a potential terrorist, and spent years on a government watchlist. This documentary tells his story, and tells how he turned the experience into a poignant work of art.
